These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Mystery Mailbox Mania website and your purchase of our products. By visiting our website, placing an order, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to make a purchase. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Mystery-Box Disclosure

Mystery Mailbox Mania sells boxes containing surprise merchandise. The exact contents are unknown to the customer before purchase and may also be unknown to us.

Contents, brands, conditions, usefulness, and values will vary. Product photographs and examples are for illustration only and do not guarantee that a particular item, brand, category, or value will be included.

Boxes may contain merchandise sourced from returned, refused, undeliverable, liquidation, or overstock lots. While many items may be new, others may be used, damaged, incomplete, opened, missing parts, missing instructions, or without original packaging. Items are sold for entertainment purposes only.

Unless a product description expressly states otherwise, we do not guarantee:

Any particular item, brand, category, or retail value;
That every item will function properly;
That items will include all parts, accessories, packaging, or instructions;
That items will be suitable for personal use, gifting, or resale; or
That one customer’s box will be comparable to another customer’s box.

3. Box Quantities and Bonus Items

Each product listing will state the number of items included. Bonus items are included only when specifically stated in the applicable product description. Bonus items may vary in number, condition, and value.

We reserve the right to update box sizes, prices, and promotional offers at any time. Changes will not affect orders already accepted and paid for.

4. Product Inspection and Safety

Customers must carefully inspect every item before using, consuming, applying, installing, charging, connecting, gifting, or reselling it.

Do not use an item that appears damaged, unsafe, expired, recalled, improperly labeled, or missing necessary safety components or instructions. Children should not be permitted to use any item until an adult has determined that it is safe and age-appropriate.

Mystery Mailbox Mania does not manufacture the items included in its boxes and is not responsible for manufacturer instructions, warranties, recalls, or defects, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

5. Orders and Payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other disclosed fees will be added during checkout.

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may cancel or refuse an order because of suspected fraud, payment problems, pricing errors, inventory issues, shipping restrictions, or other legitimate business reasons. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount charged for the cancelled merchandise and any related shipping charge.

Cancellation requests are not guaranteed once an order has been submitted or prepared for shipment.

6. Shipping

Customers are responsible for all shipping charges. Shipping costs will be calculated and displayed during checkout.

We currently ship within the contiguous United States. Shipping is not available to Alaska or Hawaii.

Processing and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly identified as guaranteed. We are not responsible for carrier delays or circumstances outside our reasonable control. If we cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will provide the cancellation, delay-consent, or refund options required by applicable law.

Shipping charges are nonrefundable after an order has shipped, except where required by law or when the shipment resulted from our error.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional expenses resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged to the customer where legally permitted.

7. All Sales Are Final

Because the surprise contents and varying condition of the merchandise are essential parts of the mystery-box experience, all sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges or provide refunds because a customer:

Does not like or need the items received;
Expected different products, brands, or values;
Received an item that is damaged, incomplete, used, or missing parts;
Received duplicate or low-value items; or
Cannot use, gift, or resell an item.

This policy does not eliminate any refund or remedy required by law. It also does not apply when Mystery Mailbox Mania cancels an order, fails to ship the order, ships the wrong box size, or makes another verified fulfillment error.

8. No Manufacturer or Carrier Affiliation

Mystery Mailbox Mania is independently operated and is not sponsored, endorsed by, or affiliated with the United States Postal Service, Amazon, UPS, FedEx, or any retailer, carrier, manufacturer, or brand whose merchandise, name, packaging, or trademark may appear in a box.

All third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

9. Website Content and Intellectual Property

The Mystery Mailbox Mania name, logo, website design, photographs, graphics, videos, and original written content are owned by or licensed to Mystery Mailbox Mania and may not be copied, reproduced, sold, or commercially used without written permission.

You may share our public social-media posts using the platform’s normal sharing features, provided the content is not altered or presented misleadingly.

10. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our website to commit fraud, interfere with website security, introduce harmful code, collect information about others without authorization, violate intellectual-property rights, or engage in unlawful activity.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and merchandise are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mystery Mailbox Mania will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the website, an order, or the use, misuse, resale, or disposal of any item.

Where liability may legally be limited, our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply to gross negligence, intentional misconduct, personal injury caused by conduct for which liability cannot be waived, or any other liability that applicable law prohibits us from limiting.

13. Privacy

Information collected through the website is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Payment information may be processed by Shopify or another third-party payment processor under that provider’s own terms and privacy practices.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.

Continued use of the website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

To the extent legally permitted, any legal proceeding relating to these Terms or a purchase from Mystery Mailbox Mania shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Broome County, New York.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the greatest extent legally permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
